FITS announces the performance schedule for its 33rd edition!

Today, during a press conference held in Sibiu (watch the conference here), the official performance schedule for the 33rd edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS) was unveiled.

Constantin Chiriac, President of FITS and Director of the "Radu Stanca" National Theatre Sibiu, engaged with local and national media to discuss the challenges of organizing this year’s edition and the new highlights the Festival brings to the stage.

Culture enthusiasts now have a one-week window to browse the full program and select the performances they wish to attend between June 19 – 28.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 6, at 12:00 PM. They will be available online at www.sibfest.ro and at the TNRS Ticketing Agency located at 17 Nicolae Bălcescu St., Sibiu.

Detailed information regarding indoor productions by world-renowned artists, as well as large-scale outdoor performances, is available on the official website. This preparatory period allows spectators to plan their visit with ease, ensuring access to the complex cultural experience FITS offers this year.

Theme of the Edition: SOUL

This year’s theme—SOUL—emphasizes that the human spirit, whether belonging to the artist or the spectator, transcends technology.

Nearly half of the events scheduled for this year will offer free admission. Ticket prices range from 50 to 200 RON, and, following the tradition of previous editions, discounts will be available for vulnerable categories.
