“Moya”, a creation by the South African company Zip Zap Circus, is a vibrant and deeply human contemporary circus performance. Brought to life by a troupe of young artists from diverse backgrounds, it energetically blends acrobatics, dance, and physical expression.
Meaning “spirit” or “life breath”, “Moya” explores the invisible connections that unite individuals through powerful, rhythm-driven visual scenes. Combining technical performances (trapeze, Cyr wheel, juggling, aerial disciplines) with South African cultural influences, the show offers an immersive experience that is both festive and moving.
Accessible to a wide audience, “Moya” celebrates solidarity, resilience, and the strength of the collective in a colorful and universal artistic world.
