October’s premieres on the Digital Stage
The Digital Stage, the online theatre-film platform of the "Radu Stanca" National Theatre of Sibiu (TNRS), offers its subscribers, in October, two new performances: "RUG", by György Dragomán, directed by Armin Petras, and "Flame of the Night", a production of the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet.
The Barcelona Flamenco Ballet creates more than a dance performance, a true work of art. The company incorporates three well-known dance styles: jazz, contemporary dance and, of course, flamenco, and the fusion of the three results in a truly innovative stage presence.
"RUG" is the result of a special collaboration between theatres in Stuttgart, Sibiu and Budapest, as part of which director Armin Petras worked in Dresden with six actresses from Germany, Romania and Hungary.
The October subscription for the Digital Stage includes the performances: "RUG", "Flame of the Night", "Hedda Gabler", "Mr. Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Koran", "Three Sisters", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Uncanny Valley", "Puzzle", "Macbeth", "Pardes"/"Garden of Paradise".
Based on the quarterly subscription, the following performances can be watched on the Digital Stage: "RUG", "Flame of the Night", "The Iranian Conference", "Three Sisters", "Dance Master", "What the Day Owes to the Night", "Tattoo", "A Midsummer Night's Dream”, “The Proposal”, “Uncanny Valley”, “The Known Unknown”, “Puzzle”, “Macbeth”, “Pardes'/'Garden of Paradise”, “Hedda Gabler” and “Mr Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Koran".
